Veronika Roux-Vlachova is the founder and director of ROUX Appraisals, a boutique appraisal and art advisory firm with presence in Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Paris, and New York. Serving both private collectors and corporate collections across the Americas and Europe, cultural institutions and charitable organizations in Canada.
A trusted and tech-forward appraisal firm, it is distinguished by its commitment to discretion, professionalism, and attentive client service. Our financial expertise enables us to take a well-informed, research-driven approach to building, managing, and monitoring the value of your collection. We built our proprietary software for collection management offering a secure platform for your art collection and all exchange of documents. Our catalogue creation service is a unique way to administer and present your collection. At the core of our services and all our interactions live our values: accuracy, precision and integrity.
Mrs. Roux-Vlachova is an accomplished arts and finance professional whose career seamlessly bridges the worlds of modern and contemporary art with global finance. Informed by her international experience in Montreal, Paris, Prague, and on Wall Street, she brings a refined expertise and enduring passion for the arts. As an accredited art appraiser with the International Society of Appraisers, she conducts her work in full compliance with USPAP standards. Renowned for her ability to connect diverse communities, she fosters meaningful dialogue and collaboration between artistic circles across the Americas and Europe.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and an MBA in International Business. Committed to continuous learning, she has earned a Modern Art certificate from Oxford University and certification from Sotheby’s Institute of Art. She is currently enrolled in the “Histoire Générale de l’art” program at l’École du Louvre in Paris.
