Veronika Roux-Vlachova is the founder and director of Roux Art Appraisals, a boutique appraisal and art advisory firm with a presence in Montreal, New York, Paris, Prague and London. The firm serves private collectors, corporate collections and family offices across the Americas and Europe, and works closely with financial and legal firms whose clients’ files involve art. It offers independent appraisals alongside comprehensive collection management services.

An accomplished arts and finance professional, Ms. Roux-Vlachova bridges the worlds of modern and contemporary art and global finance. Her international career, spanning Montreal, New York, Paris and Prague, includes experience on Wall Street, which informs her analytical approach to valuation. As an accredited member of the International Society of Appraisers, she conducts all appraisals in full compliance with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). She is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in London, and is known for fostering dialogue and collaboration between artistic communities across the Americas and Europe.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and an MBA in International Business. Committed to continuous learning, she has earned a certificate in Modern Art from the University of Oxford, a certification from Sotheby’s Institute of Art, and has completed the Histoire générale de l’art program at the École du Louvre in Paris. She remains closely engaged with developments in the art market, appraisal standards and professional best practices, ensuring the highest level of service for her clients.
