John holds a dual accredited member status of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA) and holds the ISA-AM designation. Antiques, Furnishings & Decorative Arts (AF&DA) and Fine Art (FA), and Specialty Studies: In Horology, (Watches & Clocks).

He travels throughout North America and Europe. He attends conferences relating to appraisal practices, industry specific trade shows and events.

He is a published writer with a column called ‘Appraisers Corner’ in the Journal of Watches & Clocks Collectors Association (NAWCC). John is also columnist for the Cornwall Seeker Magazine. Writing a monthly column on Personal Property Appraising. John is also an accomplished speaker, having given many presentations in both Canada and the United States.
