Sarah has over 15 years of experience in the Canadian art industry. She founded Secter Art Consulting in 2011 and has quickly grown her practice to provide art consulting services and appraisals for some of Winnipeg’s most prominent corporate and residential collectors.
Sarah Secter is a qualified personal property appraiser and is professionally trained in appraisal theory, principles, procedures, ethics and law. All reports comply with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) of the Appraisal Foundation and the Appraisal Report Writing Standards of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA).
Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Winnipeg in Art History and a Bachelor of Education in History and Politics from the University of Toronto. She has a broad understanding of contemporary and historical Canadian and International art. She runs Secter Art Consulting, a comprehensive art advisory and collection management service in Winnipeg, Canada. Sarah is also a member of the Canadian Chapter of ISA Appraisers.
